Due to continued growth, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Groundcare Service Engineer to join our team at our Perth depot. If you take pride in your work and want to get your hands on premium equipment, keep reading.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of professional groundcare and turfcare equipment keeping our customers running and our standards high. Working in a busy workshop, and out on customer sites when needed, you'll diagnose faults, carry out repairs and prepare machinery to manufacturer standard.
- Service, maintain and repair groundcare and turfcare machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults
- Utilise manufacturer diagnostic software and specialist tools
- Prepare new and used machinery for delivery to customers
- Carry out machinery inspections and preventative maintenance work
- Complete service documentation and job records accurately
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Support customers and colleagues with technical advice when required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
What You'll Bring
You know your way round an engine bay, a hydraulic circuit and a diagnostic laptop — and you take pride in doing the job right.
- Previous experience working within groundcare, turfcare, agricultural, plant, construction equipment, commercial vehicle or automotive sectors
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills
- Experience using computer-based diagnostic equipment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work
- A full UK driving licence
Experience with professional groundcare equipment, golf course machinery, compact tractors, utility vehicles or robotic mowing technology is a bonus, not a must.
