About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and proactive Aftercare Technicians to join our team, maintaining and caring for plants across a variety of commercial environments including offices, hotels, and restaurants.
This is a field-based role, working on the road and travelling between client sites to ensure our plant installations remain healthy, vibrant, and maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant, transplant, and maintain a variety of indoor plants and trees
- Service commercial sites including offices, hotels, restaurants, and other corporate environments
- Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies
- Apply fertilisers, pesticides, and other treatments as required
- Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules
- Prepare soil and planting areas to promote optimal plant growth
- Prune, trim, and shape plants for both aesthetic presentation and plant health
- Maintain accurate service records using our customised mobile app
- Implement sustainable horticultural practices wherever possible
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality standards across all sites
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Assist installation teams with new plant displays when required
Requirements
- Experience in horticulture, plant maintenance, or a similar hands-on role
- Knowledge of plant care, pest identification, and treatment methods (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing a schedule effectively
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying equipment and plants
- Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Applicants must already be based in either the Manchester region.
- Willingness to travel within your region and occasionally further afield when required
