GOD TV are looking to build our Partnerships call team in the UK. We are looking for dedicated Christians who would like the opportunity to be part of a dynamic telephone call team committed to sharing the Gospel throughout the globe and serving our viewers both in prayer and creating opportunities for them to partner with us.
This is an opportunity to work from home and connect with GOD TV’s viewers via the phone with a variety of calls from across the US, the UK, Europe and the Nordic regions via phone & social media.
The Role
This role is a telephone based fundraising role. As a Partnership Co-ordinator you will be part of the UK Partnerships team. It will be your job to build mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing contacts over the phone. You will learn all about GOD TV and the powerful testimonies we receive, and will communicate with our partners to encourage them, share these stories and to increase financial support.
Responsibilities include making calls to ensure the re-engagement of lapsed donors, increasing regular giving and asking people to give new gifts. This is done from a perspective of creating ‘God’ appropriate opportunities for people to give into and not a sales approach, but as part of your role you will be expected to bring in new income and have an annual target to meet.
You will be expected to think of creative ideas to help grow and sustain GOD TV’s donation income alongside your team.
Core Responsibilities
Call Handling:
You will be part of the team making proactive outbound calls including:
- Proactive fundraising calls
- Major donor relationship calls
- Lapsed donor re-engagement calls
- Thank you calls
- First time donor calls
- Increase monthly pledge calls
- Inviting people to GOD TV events
- Legacy campaigns
- Volunteer engagement
Administration and Support:
You will be part of the team that administrates the organisational database:
- Handling donor queries
- Updating donor details
- Handling engagement on emails and digital live events
- Distributing welcome packs and incentives
- Supporting the wider Partnerships team in times of need
Social Media Engagement:
- Online presence for partner interactions & events
- Responding to messages via WhatsApp and social media platforms
Candidate Profile
Experience & Track Record:
- Experience of working in a fundraising, engagement or call centre environment
- Ability to work towards targets and manage own time effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Specialist Knowledge & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience working in a Christian ministry environment
- Demonstrate support for and commitment to the Christian mission, values and statement of faith of GOD TV
- Willingness and confidence to pray with callers as required
- Experience of using CRMs, preferably Salesforce
- Experience within media, broadcast, streaming, or similarly audience-led sectors is highly desirable
- Proficient with social media with an understanding of online engagement
- Ability to connect through passionate storytelling
Working Model
- UK-based remote working
- Travel may occasionally be required for key meetings, staff gatherings and events
