Based in Wolverhampton, the successful candidate will work closely with the Enterprise Risk Manager and Chief Legal, Compliance and Risk Officer (CLCRO) to ensure the effective management of the firm's enterprise risk frameworks.

Operate and support the firm's enterprise risk management framework, including maintaining risk registers, monitoring controls, and preparing reports.

Assist in the design, development, and embedding of risk policies, procedures, and assurance frameworks across the business.

Identify, assess, and quantify operational and enterprise risk scenarios, escalating issues where appropriate.

Provide clear, pragmatic, and business-focused risk advice with appropriate guidance from the Enterprise Risk Manager.

Produce accurate and timely risk reports, analysis, and presentations for senior stakeholders, including the senior leadership team and risk and audit committee.

Support the operation of the firm's assurance frameworks, including contributing evidence and input for internal and external audits and regulatory reporting where required.

Collaborate with colleagues across functions to promote a strong risk culture and ensure risk management is embedded in decision-making.

Build and maintain effective relationships with auditors, assurance providers, system suppliers, and other external stakeholders.

Communicate technical and complex risk matters in a clear, concise, and relevant way for different audiences.

Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory expectations, and best practice to support continuous improvement of the risk function.

Actively participate in professional development, ensuring knowledge of accounting, finance, investments, pensions, and risk management remains current.

Degree qualified (or equivalent experience).

Associated risk management practitioner qualifications/certifications (preferred).
