We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Night Porter to join our team in. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel during night hours. Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during night hours, ensuring a warm and professional experience.
- Conduct regular security checks across the hotel premises to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff.
- Handle guest enquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette, providing information and resolving issues efficiently.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to any suspicious activity or emergencies.
- Manage late-night reservations, cancellations, or amendments as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front desk area and public spaces during your shift.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns or facility issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse range of guests effectively.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential; a strong focus on guest services is key.
- Excellent communication skills, with professional phone etiquette.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently during night hours.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations confidently.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour combined with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards is advantageous but not mandatory.
