Our Mission
P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery is a UK registered charity that exists to make life easier after acquired brain injury (ABI) by providing support, guidance and education sessions to empower all affected. We also campaign to improve services, raise awareness, and promote understanding.
Here, we help people rebuild their lives after brain injury. Every story we share, campaign we deliver, and partnership we create raises awareness, sparks understanding, and brings hope to those on the road to recovery.
We live by our values, which are Positivity, Awareness, Understanding and Love and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager who shares that same energy and commitment to making a difference.
The Purpose of this Role
As our Marketing Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing our mission to life through impactful campaigns that raise awareness, generate income, strengthen partnerships, and grow our community of supporters.
You will line manage and lead the Marketing Team, setting clear priorities, allocating work and providing direction, support and accountability to ensure the team delivers effectively against agreed objectives and targets. You will oversee the team’s day-to-day activity, monitor progress and quality, and ensure work is delivered on time, to a high standard and in line with the wider marketing strategy.
You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of multiple marketing campaigns across fundraising, events, awareness and partnership projects, ensuring each campaign is planned, executed, measured and continuously improved with purpose and precision.

● Ensure all content reflects P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery’s tone, values, and brand voice.
● Develop and test campaign messaging that resonates with specific audiences.
● Support media relations, including liaising with local and national press to raise awareness of our work.
● Manage and grow the charity’s digital presence, ensuring consistent messaging and tone across all platforms.
● Support the design and execution of targeted email marketing campaigns to re-engage lapsed donors and nurture fundraising and corporate partnership opportunities.
● Lead on the creation and circulation of the charity’s monthly newsletter, ensuring content is relevant, emotionally engaging, and aligned to charity objectives.
● Ensure all campaigns comply with brand, GDPR, and ethical marketing standards.
Automation & Data Management
● Utilise automation tools and workflows to nurture leads, trigger follow-ups, and streamline prospect communication.
● Monitor journey stages – from initial engagement through to qualification and participation.

● Collaborate with the Leadership Team to ensure visibility of the marketing audience journey and performance outcomes.
