HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Severn Beach - BS35 4GG
Thomas Grant Recruitment are currently seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client’s busy Avonmouth depot.
If you have a Class 2 driving licence, hold a valid CPC, and have no more than 6 points on your licence, we’d love to hear from you.
New pass HGV drivers accepted.
This role can lead to permanent for the right candidates
Role Details
- Self loading using pallet truck
- Some handballing and key-holding responsibilities required
- Around 3-4 deliveries per day
- Monday to Saturday availability preferred
- 5 Shifts per week
Pay Rates
- Days £16.13 PAYE or £18.08 including holiday pay.
- Nights: £18.17 PAYE or £20.36 including holiday pay.
Shifts
Day shifts starts vary between 07:00 and 09.30am
Night start times vary between 22.00 and 01.00am
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Recent Class 2 driving experience preferred (newly qualified drivers also considered)
- No more than 6 points for insurance purposes
- Professional and reliable attitude
