Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate laboratory activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to uphold quality standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between laboratory teams, management, and external partners.
- Monitor workflow processes to optimise productivity and minimise errors.
- Ensure accurate documentation of laboratory activities, results, and compliance records.
- Organise training sessions for staff on new techniques, safety protocols, or equipment updates.
- Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in laboratory management or a similar leadership role within a scientific or technical environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to laboratory operations, including data management software.
- Experience in teaching or training staff members is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to laboratory settings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Relevant qualifications in science, technology, or related fields are preferred.
