Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the group businesses, ensuring the smooth running of office operations and providing assistance to management, customers, suppliers, and staff.
No two days are the same, and the successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple tasks, prioritising workloads, and working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Duties
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
- Assisting with invoicing, purchase orders, and general finance administration.
- Supporting operational planning and scheduling activities.
- Assisting with employee records, holiday tracking, and personnel administration.
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and business documentation.
- Coordinating meetings, appointments, and office communications.
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining office organisation.
- Providing administrative support to the Operations Manager and wider management team.
- Supporting compliance, health & safety, and company record-keeping requirements.
Skills
- Previous experience in an office administration, administrative assistant, or customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Desirable
- Experience supporting multiple departments or businesses.
- Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, or payroll administration.
- Knowledge of business administration processes and compliance documentation.
