Overview
We are looking for a Scaffolding Supervisor / Contract Manager to join our Operations Team. You will be responsible for the safe planning, coordination, and delivery of scaffolding projects.
The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and solid organisational skills to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with scaffolding teams and clients to maintain safety, quality, and productivity across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and monitor scaffolding projects from start to finish
- Lead and support teams to maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism
- Coordinate labour, materials, and logistics to meet programme and customer requirements
- Carry out inspections, briefings, and site visits to ensure compliance with TG20:21, TG30:24, SG4:22, relevant industry standards, and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management to keep projects on track
- Identify variations or issues early and report them through the correct channels
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure company policies are consistently followed
Requirements
- CISRS Advanced Scaffolder and CISRS Supervisor Card
- SMSTS
- Demonstrable experience supervising scaffolding gangs
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of NASC TG20:21, SG4:22, and relevant H&S legislation
- Good computer skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable: Appreciation of commercial aspects of scaffold contracting; experience in estimating; knowledge of CADS Smart Estimator and Strikesoft Strike
