We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations and decision-making processes
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee merchandising activities to ensure visual standards are maintained
- Manage stock levels, organise inventories, and coordinate deliveries
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Contribute to sales strategies and promotional activities to maximise revenue
- Maintain organisational records and manage administrative tasks efficiently
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication skills
Experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments is essential
- Proven team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff members
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and organisational planning is highly desirable
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and use of relevant software tools is preferred

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
