Company information:
We started Lisa’s buses during COVID 19 in the summer of 2020 when we saw how difficult it was for some of the most vulnerable people in our rural community to get to the supermarket or even their hospital appointments. We started 2 minibuses daily picking up our service users and taking them each day and back home. To begin with it was myself and my wife and our son in law. In order to keep up with the number of service users using our buses we started to recruit enthusiastic drivers to support. Our number of service users kept growing and growing and our service proved to be popular, with one of the unique selling points being our friendly driving team.
In 2022, local schools and colleges got in contact after their previous companies stopped running their school buses. By the end of 2022, we had 5 school routes getting kids to school and taking them back home in the rural areas of Haywards Heath and surrounding areas.
In 2023, this kept growing and we were running 5-6 minibuses daily for our elderly users and 8 for our school work. We started employing 10-15 friendly and enthusiastic drivers to keep these routes running daily.
After such a successful couple of years running the routes, the Cuckfield Parish Council contacted us about 3 local bus routes that they wanted to be run hourly for the general public. After a year of planning in 2024 we are pleased to announce we are beginning these in April 2025.

We are looking to recruit a team of genuinely friendly people who will fit right into our company and share our values. We want our drivers to feel connected to our community.
Minimum 40 hours/week for full time drivers.

We run a 1 month probation period for all drivers starting with us and during this time we want to make sure you fit right in and enjoy sharing our values with our passengers. During this time drivers will be paid £16.50/hour.
After a successful 1 month probation period, drivers will be paid £17.50/hour every day.

Driver Requirements:
- Have a current and valid UK PCV (category D) driving licence. We would prefer drivers with at least 12 months UK PCV driving experience.
- Have a current and valid PCV Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Be able to prove your right to work in the UK
- Be Punctual, Reliable, helpful, friendly and be someone who wants to get involved with the local communities and people who are willing to go above and beyond with our passengers.
