Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are strictly followed
- Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including tables, service stations, and dining spaces
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required to support team operations
- Handle guest enquiries courteously, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with serving procedures and guest service standards is beneficial
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions confidently
- Experience in kitchen environments or culinary roles can be an asset but is not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
