Our Team
We are looking to hire highly driven Litigation Associate to join our London office operation at an exciting growth period.

The Role
We are looking to further strengthen our Litigation team with the appointment of a Newly Qualified Solicitor or up to 2 years Post Qualified Experience (PQE). This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and ambitious operation and to have plenty of scope to make a mark in the office.
There is also potential further roles dedicated to servicing new clients on specific litigation claims. This particular role might also be suitable for candidates with more experience but who may value flexibility or alternative arrangements.
The team is presently working on high‑quality, blue‑chip matters within a broad and varied practice, with exposure to business development and long‑term growth potential. The team is also working on a large volume of claims within a specific practice area.
As a Litigation Associate at Gilson Gray, you’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing letters, court documents and settlement documentation
- Conducting legal and factual research, including case law
- Supporting partners on more complex or high‑value disputes
- Taking responsibility for achieving results for clients while meeting budgetary targets
- Achieving personal and departmental KPIs
- Collaborating with other internal departments and functions
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor; Newly Qualified to 2 years’ PQE
- Experience of Litigation matters
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Well‑organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines
- Strong IT skills, including document and data management systems
- A collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach
