Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, such as hotels or residential homes. Your main goal will be to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests or residents.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
- Change linens and make beds
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary
- Customer service skills to interact with guests or residents in a friendly and professional manner
