Are you a Management Accountant who wants more than month-end reporting?
We're looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a successful food manufacturing business, working closely with the Site Manager and operational teams to provide the insight, challenge and financial support that drives performance.
This is a highly visible role offering genuine exposure to manufacturing operations, supply chain and site leadership.
The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in helping the business understand performance, control costs and make better decisions, while maintaining strong financial controls and reporting standards.
Key responsibilities includes:
- Producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Analysing performance against budget, forecast and prior year
- Delivering meaningful variance analysis and commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning
- Partnering with site and supply chain teams to improve performance
- Supporting capex proposals and investment decisions
- Maintaining balance sheet controls, reconciliations and fixed assets
- Supporting audits and wider finance activities
About You
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, part-qualified or studying
- Management accounting experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food & drink or a similar environment
- Strong month-end, reporting and balance sheet experience
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis expertise
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems knowledge
- Confident working with operational stakeholders and challenging constructively
- Proactive, curious and keen to improve processes
