We are looking for an addtional creative, passionate and experienced senior florists to join our team to work for our prestigious flower brand in Chelsea bringing inspirational ideas to all aspects of our Wedding, corporate, events operations.
This person will also focus on providing our customers with the best possible experience when creating individual Hand Tied Bouquets, seasonal displays and event displays.
The role requires a confident and versatile florist with proven experience across luxury retail, bespoke event floristry and installations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily running of the shop, keeping everything looking beautiful and welcoming.
- Oversee inventory, managing stock, suppliers and ensuring the shop always looking its best.
- Designing and creating stunning floral arrangements for events, weddings, funerals and installations, with a strong attention to detail.
- Working closely with clients brining their ideas to life – from concept to proposal and finished designs.
- Motivate, inspire and other team florists, helping them grow their skills and confidence.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining stock led implement merchandising strategies to optimise product displays and maximise sales.
- Handling customer enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling staff shifts, managing budgets, and maintaining records.
- Working closely with the senior management team, imbedding company processes, looking to improve process and systems as and when required.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Support with local deliveries, using company van as and when required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years proven experience as a florist with a strong portfolio of floral designs.
- Administrative experience relevant to stock control, budgeting, or scheduling is desirable.
Essentials:
- Outstanding customer service experience
- Full, clean driving licence
- Confident driving a van
- Excellent communication & organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate: confident with Microsoft Office, managing online orders, internal & external emails, ‘EPOS Now’ till system, customer orders & queries, and other business online platforms.
