About the company:
HireIQ are partnering with a well-established, growing business as they hire for a Financial Controller. You’ll oversee a small finance team and take a hands-on approach across the full finance function. The role would suit a senior finance professional who enjoys being involved in both the day-to-day and commercial aspects of the finance function, with the opportunity to work closely with the wider management team.
About the job:
- Take full ownership of the site finance function, including month-end, year-end, P&L, cash flow and financial reporting.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and planning process, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
- Provide commercial financial insight across pricing, product costing, investment and key business decisions.
- Oversee monthly management reporting, variance analysis and financial performance, partnering closely with senior stakeholders.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and Intrastat reporting.
- Manage the payroll function and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Support wider business strategy, process improvement and financial controls across the site.
- Act as a key finance partner to the Senior Management Team, providing financial insight to support growth and performance.
About you:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent -QBE considered with relevant expereince
- Confident Excel user advantageous
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
