Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hard working and professional Taxi Driver to work full time hours both days and evenings Monday - Sunday.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to navigate effectively, and a commitment to maintaining the vehicle stays in a clean condition.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers to various destinations in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items when necessary
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details
- Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability
- Handle any customer enquiries or complaints professionally
Experience
- Valid UK driving licence required
- Valid Wyre Council Dual Driver Licence - Preferred
- Must be aged 25 years or above with at least 3 years driving experience for insurance purposes
- Previous experience as a taxi driver or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including a mini bus if required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times
- The ability to work as part of a team
