Our client, a reputable multi-franchise car dealership group with a strong presence across South Wales for over 60 years, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled Vehicle Technician in Hay-on-Wye. - Competitive basic salary of £30,000 to £41,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Up to £3,600 annual bonus through team and individual schemes

Duties:
- Conduct a range of mechanical repairs and servicing, from light servicing to clutch replacements and engine work, primarily on cars and 4x4s
- Perform used car preparations and pre-delivery inspections aligned with dealership procedures
- Accurately diagnose faults and document findings
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
- Complete all associated paperwork accurately and promptly
- Support the workshop team in meeting operational targets
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or IMI in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Strong team player, motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Experience with used car prep and diagnostics preferred
- Additional skills such as MOT certification or experience working with 4x4 vehicles are desirable but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment and demonstrate a proactive attitude towards skills development
