We have an exciting new vacancy for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Grand Hotel Sunderland. Your duties will include:
- Supervising the daily operation of the maintenance team.
- Liaising with the hotel’s operational departments to ensure all guest needs and operational functions are prioritised.
- Ensuring necessary inspections of lifts, boilers etc are carried out and records maintained.
- Ensuring regular testing and management of the hotel’s safety systems.
- Responding effectively to emergencies.
- Conducting the recruitment, training and management of maintenance personnel and assisting in the training of all staff in respect of statutory training.
The successful candidate will have excellent DIY skills or be a trades person that can tackle various forms of maintenance work. You must also have a keen attention to detail and the ability to take initiative when tackling problems.
