Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our pub and guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests and staff. Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is highly desirable, This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional and friendly environment, with the chance to develop your skills within the hospitality industry.
Various hours and shifts patterns, 07.30am - 2pm, 07.30am - 10.30am, 10.30am - 2pm
Hourly rate depending on age and experience.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and team facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as required
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
- A positive approach towards guest service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
