Job Purpose
The Senior Aesthetic Practitioner is responsible for delivering exceptional, evidence-based aesthetic treatments while providing clinical leadership and supporting the highest standards of patient safety, governance, and service excellence across Dr Rasha Clinic.
Working in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Fundamental Standards, professional regulatory requirements, and clinic policies, the Senior Aesthetic Practitioner will lead by example, ensuring safe, effective, person-centred care. In addition to their clinical responsibilities, they will mentor colleagues, support quality improvement initiatives, contribute to staff development, and help drive continuous service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments.
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on best practice and patient goals.
- Perform advanced aesthetic treatments within professional scope of practice and competency.
- Obtain informed consent and ensure patients have realistic expectations.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records in accordance with CQC, GDPR, and professional standards.
- Provide comprehensive aftercare and ongoing patient support.
- Identify, manage, document, and escalate complications appropriately.
- Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with current legislation, evidence-based practice, and manufacturer guidelines.
Operational Responsibilities
- Ensure treatment rooms consistently meet infection control and presentation standards.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and report faults promptly.
- Assist with stock management and ordering of clinical consumables.
- Support implementation of new technologies, products, and treatment protocols.
- Contribute to clinic efficiency while maintaining exceptional patient care.
Patient Experience
- Deliver an outstanding patient journey from consultation through to follow-up.
- Build long-term patient relationships founded on trust and professionalism.
- Manage patient concerns and complaints in accordance with clinic policy.
- Promote ethical treatment planning and patient education.
- Support patient retention through excellent clinical outcomes and service delivery.
