Are you an experienced multi-skilled operative looking for a permanent role where you're trusted to get on with the job?
DCS is growing our in-house maintenance team across South Wales and the South West, and we're looking for experienced tradespeople who can turn their hand to a range of commercial maintenance works.
You'll have your own van, manage your day out on the road and work across a varied portfolio of commercial properties – with sensible scheduling, support when you need it and the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime and call-out.

What you'll be doing
No two days will be exactly the same.
You'll attend commercial sites across South Wales and the South West carrying out a mixture of:
- Reactive maintenance and repairs
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Plumbing repairs
- Carpentry and joinery
- Decorating and making good
- General building and fabric repairs
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Grounds maintenance where required
- Minor works and remedial jobs
You'll also take part in a fairly managed on-call rota, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings.
What we're looking for
We're more interested in what you can actually do than a long list of certificates.
You'll need:
- Previous multi-trade, property maintenance or building maintenance experience
- Good practical skills across more than one trade
- The confidence to diagnose problems and find solutions
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A professional and reliable approach
- A full UK driving licence
Experience within commercial property or facilities management would be an advantage, but isn't essential if you have the right practical experience.
