JOB TITLE: LECTURER - ANIMAL CARE
LOCATION: Wisbech
HOURS: 22.5 per week, days to be agreed
SALARY: £19,401 - £24,406 per annum (£31,904 - £40,232 FTE)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Animal Care Lecturer to inspire and engage learners studying animal management programmes. You will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of levels, supporting students in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to the animal care industry.
Our animal care courses ensure that our students leave us with the scientific and practical skills they need for their careers in the animal care industry. We are passionate about our animals and the education and training we provide to our students- the next generation of animal care specialists.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving animal care team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not be made at point 10 or above (£34,687 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
