We're looking for hardworking, reliable barbacks to join our team at The Monro.
As a barback, you'll play a vital role in keeping the bar running smoothly. Working closely with our bartenders, you'll ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and organised so the team can deliver exceptional service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and aren't afraid to roll your sleeves up, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Keep the bar fully stocked with glassware, spirits, beers, wines, garnishes, and consumables throughout service.
- Collect and wash glassware, ensuring a constant supply is available for the bar team.
- Change kegs and assist with cellar organisation, cleanliness, and stock rotation.
- Receive, check, and put away deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness behind the bar, in storage areas, and throughout front and back of house.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the venue is clean, stocked, and ready for service.
- Support bartenders during busy periods, helping deliver a smooth and efficient service.
- Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, and company procedures.
What We're Looking For

- Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
