Field / Site Services Technician
We’re looking for someone who is practical, conscientious and enjoys a hands-on, outdoor role, to join our busy UK Site Services team.
Puragen is a market-leading environmental purification company with strengths in water filtration, renewable energy and air treatment. We are a rapidly growing activated-carbon business based on a circular economy model and first-class technical capabilities, with sites across the UK, Europe and the United States.
Due to this growth, we're strengthening the water operations division of our Site Services team with this new position. Full training will be given.
You will:
- Attend customer sites to carry out filter servicing work and oversee sub-contractors.
- Supervise site operations, ensuring sub-contractors provide relevant licences, equipment is correctly certified, work is carried out safety, correctly and with minimal environmental impact.
- Be a point of contact between the customer and sub-contractors on site to ensure seamless customer service and provide on-the-ground problem solving.
- Ensure work is carried out according to the relevant method statements and risk assessments and that all permits to work are correctly signed.
- Support the completion of services work where it is required.
- Provide support and information to the Sales team, including visit reports and other paperwork.
- Provide a high standard of maintenance to Puragen’s fleet of rental filters on customer sites and at our own sites.
- Participate in the support and management of service equipment and warehousing when necessary.
The role will be based in the North West of England, with extensive UK travel and the frequent requirement to stay away from home. A company vehicle will be provided for business use.

- Able to work well independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and IT skills.
- Willingness to work away from home and adapt to changing schedules.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
