Location: Unit 10 Greenbank Business Centre, Newry BT342QX
Hours: Full-Time – 42.5 hours per week (including Saturday rota)
Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience, plus monthly bonus
We are looking for a motivated and organised Assistant Manager to join our growing electrical wholesale business. This is a varied and hands-on role that offers excellent opportunities for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, improving processes, and helping to drive business performance.
Working within a busy trade and retail environment, you will support the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring high standards of customer service, stock control, and team management while helping to improve efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
· Supporting the daily management and smooth running of the business
· Assisting trade and retail customers with product enquiries and sales
· Preparing quotations for both trade customers and members of the public
· Processing supplier deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records
· Conducting regular stock checks and inventory management
· Support team development
· Driving improvements in processes and operational efficiency
· Delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
About You

Essential Requirements
· Previous computer experience, including email management and order processing
· Excellent numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
· Full, clean UK driving licence & over 25 Years old for Insurance Reasons
· Willingness to work Saturdays on a rota basis
· A proactive approach with a desire to improve processes and drive performance
· Ability to support business growth
