DyMac Global ltd is seeking a Generator Technician / Mechanical Fitter. Workshop-Based mostly with some field work necessary. We are a generator and hybrid power products company seeking a Generator Technician / Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a workshop-based role. Working on pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of diesel generators and fitting components such as pumps and fuel systems into steel tanks
Responsibilities
Carry out PDI on diesel generators prior to delivery
Fit pumps and components into steel fuel tanks
Basic mechanical assembly and installation work
Inspect and prepare equipment to a high standard. Fill in paperwork such warranty items Communicate information to the after-sales manager Work as part of a small, reliable team in the workshop The off loading of generators, fuel storage tanks and hybrid power products from shipping containers with our in-house 5 tonne forklift
Requirements:
Mechanical experience (diesel, plant, workshop, or similar)
Comfortable working with tools, fittings, and fuel systems
Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable and able to work consistently without supervision Driver's license is essential
Desirable (not essential):
Experience with generators or fuel systems
Basic electrical knowledge
Experience in a workshop or fabrication environment
