Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of our facility’s infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and overseeing repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your maintenance skills in a fast-paced setting that values proactive problem-solving and excellent customer service. The candidate must be willing to travel Nationwide and also Out of Hours works are required.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with team members or contractors, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs
- Routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Health & safety compliance
- Recording maintenance and reporting faults
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment
Experience
- Background in facilities, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
- Practical knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs.
- Familiarity with planned and reactive maintenance.
- Ability to identify and report faults and defects.
- Understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise maintenance tasks.
- Good communication skills when working with contractors and other departments.
