The Chef works to ensure that catering is provided within the Springdene home and must ensure that high standards and high customer satisfaction are delivered, all kitchen services are efficient, and that the required Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring that food presentation achieves high standards at all times, meeting resident needs.
The Springdene Group have been caring for their local communities since 1969 and offer luxurious, state-of-the art care across three homes.
Our founders were inspired by a radical approach to care of the elderly, taking the view that psychological, physical and environmental stimulation would promote a longer, healthier and happier life.

But this reputation doesn’t come without the hard work and dedication of our specially selected staff – each one hand-picked and trained to the highest professional standards. Many come from nursing backgrounds and/or have extensive elderly care experience, incorporating valuable skills into the Springdene family.
