Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental care, ensuring patient comfort and education. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional team committed to delivering exceptional oral health services.
An exciting opportunity for the right candidate. Starting at one day per week, with the possibility to expand to two. We are ideally seeking cover for a Tuesday and Wednesday although some flexibility for Mondays is available.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleaning procedures, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health.
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Support the dental team during various procedures, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Will be taking over an existing Private/Plan list to continue full range of hygiene services the practice offers
Qualifications
- recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene or Therapy - GDC registration essential.
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and dental procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Organised, detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Pay: £33.00-£37.00 per hour
