The Role
As a Shift Leader, you will act as the Manager-in-Charge during your shifts. You will bridge the gap between team members and restaurant management, ensuring that every shift runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Shift Operations: Lead and manage restaurant shifts from start to finish, ensuring speed of service, product quality, and operational standards across all stations.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Direct, motivate, and assign tasks to team members. Provide on-the-spot feedback and assist with training new hires.
- Customer Service: Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict UK food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety standards throughout the kitchen and front-of-house.
- Business & Cash Controls: Manage registers, perform float counts and end-of-shift cash reconciliations, monitor food waste, and help maintain labor efficiency targets.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR), fast food, hospitality, or retail supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for encouraging and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts.
- Right to work in the UK.
