Job Description: North Technical Sales BDM(Remote)
Role Summary
Remote Technical Sales for the north UK – to work as part of sales team within the Thomas Ashford business.
Main Tasks
- Drive growth in line with the company strategy. Deliver annual Sales on target within budget and ensure that the targets and KPI's are reached.
- Maintain a adequate reporting structure regarding all critical aspects of your daily business, including but not limited to sales, profitability.
- Use of analytics, CRM and customer insights. Grow the business by adding new, strategically important customers and promoting excellent customer relationships at all levels, being the preferred choice for the customers.
- To increase and maximise the Share of Wallet for all brands withing the existing customer portfolio.
- Ensure effective communication, externally (within the group and other departments) and internally, within the Ashford location - joining relevant meetings.
- Collaboration on strategy of Flowtech Fluidpower - supporting business requirements.
Requirements
- Strong Aftermarket background with proven track record and ability to manage territory sales.
- Financial awareness i.e. Forecasting, Quoting,Margin/Profitability
- Good PC Literacy and use of Microsoft Office tools
- Effective and concise communicator at all levels
- Customer focused with strong negotiation skills
Circumstances:
- Travelling is necessary as required by the business/role
- Full driving license required
- Flexibility in terms of working hours
- Direct report to Thomas Ashford GM
