Chiller Engineer
Location: Manchester (Covering the North West)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary + Overtime + Bonus + On-Call Payments
An established and growing engineering business is looking to recruit an experienced Chiller Engineer to join their specialist team covering the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in commercial and industrial chiller systems who is looking to join a company that values technical expertise and rewards performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, diagnostics, and servicing on a range of commercial and industrial chiller systems across customer sites throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on a range of cooling equipment
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Producing accurate service reports and documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support on-site
Essential Requirements
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Proven experience working as a Chiller Engineer
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Proven experience working on commercial and industrial chillers/refrigeration systems
- Experience working within food manufacturing, process cooling, production facilities, or similar industrial environments
- Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Desirable Experience
- Experience working on leading manufacturers such as Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Airedale, York, Clivet, or similar
- Experience with Ammonia (NH3) and CO₂ systems
- Knowledge of BMS and control systems
- Experience within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or food production environments
