Our Student Experience team has an exciting opportunity within the Student Inclusion, Information and Welfare department. We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Student Information and Welfare Manager to lead the delivery of our Information & Welfare and Reception services, ensuring students receive high-quality information, advice and guidance throughout their learner journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop a dedicated team, creating an inclusive and collaborative culture.
- Deliver an outstanding, student-centred support service across the College.
- Drive service improvement and change using data, technology and innovative approaches.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, including funding bodies, local authorities and support agencies.
- Support effective decision-making on complex student welfare, funding and support matters.
Role Requirements:
- Strong leadership, people management and operational skills.
- Experience of service improvement, change management and using digital tools to enhance services.
- Strong understanding of student support, information, advice and guidance within further and higher education.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills.
- SCQF Level 9 (Degree or equivalent) or relevant skills and experience.

£50,811 from 01 September 2026 following Pay Award
