We have recently renovated our garden area and continue to improve our growing setting. The Nursery has a 65 child capacity has been rated 'Good' by OFSTED.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will play a key role in supporting children’s development through engaging activities, helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.
We offer flexible working patterns including full-time hours over 4 days or part-time hours over flexible days.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s learning and development through play-based experiences
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Previous experience in an early years setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
