Campsite & Caravan Park Management and Warden Team (Two-Person Joint Role)

Romney Meadows Park is a premier, family-owned campsite perfectly located just outside New Romney, Kent. It is an ideal site for quiet getaways, welcoming caravans, motorhomes, campers, and guests to our camping cabins and 50 pitches. We take immense pride in our high standards, having achieved the TripAdvisor "Travellers’ Choice" and "Best of the Best" awards from 2022 to date, the Pitchup Review Award 2023 and have cycle-friendly accreditation. The park operates 11 months of the year, from 1st March to 31st January.
We are seeking a professional, co-habiting two-person Management and Warden team to run this award-winning site. This is a collaborative joint role requiring a combination of excellent customer service, administration, and hands-on maintenance skills. Comfortable on-site accommodation is provided as part of the role, alongside a company van for business use. Both team members will receive 28 days of statutory holiday, to be taken concurrently during February when the park is closed.
Main duties and responsibilities
The successful dual-applicant team will divide and share the following responsibilities:
- Reception: Providing a high level of customer service, answering calls, responding to emails, managing enquiries, and greeting guests warmly.
- Administration: Organising bookings via the Free to Book portal, cashing up, and completing basic administrative tasks.
- Pitch Management: Guiding arrivals and assisting guests to their allocated pitches.
- Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintaining immaculate cleanliness inside and outside all buildings, toilet/shower blocks, and communal areas.
- Grounds & Maintenance: Managing refuse collection and general gardening/maintenance duties using the equipment provided.
Skills and Attributes Required
To be successful, the team must collectively possess:
- Previous professional experience working as a Park Warden or Campsite Management team.
- A shared passion for delivering exceptional customer service and immaculate cleanliness.
- A practical, hands-on approach to gardening, landscaping, and site maintenance.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically a working knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, basic administration, and numeracy skills.
- High self-motivation and the flexibility to work varied hours across the week.
