The Faulkner Arms in Hoole, Chester is looking for an enthusiastic and positive person to join our bar and front of house team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.We hire purely on personality and provide class training to get you up to speed. Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take drink orders and serve beverages in a timely manner.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service.
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
- Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standard.
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Experience as a bartender or server preferred but not essential.
