The Royal Alexandra and Albert School exists to give our children a distinctly different start in life, preparing them for the world with hope, optimism, compassion and empathy.
We are a co-educational, non-selective state boarding school, for boys and girls aged 7 - 18. This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 300 Full Boarders, passionately involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips.

The Role
Blending academic excellence with a thriving 24/7 residential community, our organisation requires a highly organised and professional administrative core to keep its Foundation Office running seamlessly.
You will provide high-level, confidential Personal Assistant support to the Bursar and Foundation Secretary whilst supporting the Commercial Business Manager and operationally manage the Foundation Admin Team.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess proven leadership and administrative expertise, with established experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or Office Manager.
- Have experience at taking accurate, professional minutes at a senior executive or board level.
- Show exceptional organisational ability and attention to detail, successfully managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a busy environment.
- Deliver outstanding administrative and customer service standards.
- Be proficient in data and systems management, with experience handling records, databases, or compliance systems.
- Possess strong IT skills in Microsoft Office and Google, alongside the ability to research and implement new digital workflows or systems.
- Display excellent interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Approach challenges with a positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset, acting as a dedicated team player who remains calm, welcoming, and professional under pressure.
- Be a proactive self-starter, capable of working independently, taking initiative, and driving tasks through to completion.
