EWT ltd in Darenth are currently looking a van driver (days) on a full time basis. We are looking for drivers who are energetic, personable, safe and compliant.
As a well-established fresh produce Logistics Company, we are an independent family-owned business with over 180 dedicated employees.
From our two distributions Centre's in Paddock Wood and Darenth we deliver fresh produce to companies around the UK.
As a van driver working for EWT Express you have an amazing opportunity to be part of our excellent team presenting our impeccable service to our customers through hard work and dedication.
The position will involve manual handling duties, and attention to detail is important as duties will require working to set procedures.
Requirements:
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Basic numeracy and conversational English language
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer focused
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety
- Self-motivated

- Good organisational skills
- Reliability and dependability
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience driving refrigerated vans is preferred
Working hours and salary:
· Days of work: Monday to Friday
· 50 hrs a week, overtime available
· Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 p/h
· Payment weekly
· Contract type: Permanent
