We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patrons enjoy their time while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the till effectively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Provide assistance to guests in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring an enjoyable experience.
Skills
- Proficient in basic maths for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently serve customers during busy periods.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure while remaining calm and composed.
- A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues in a restaurant setting.
