Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Venue Maintenance Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our event spaces. This position offers an opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of maintenance tasks, supporting the smooth operation of our venue. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with repairs to create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help keep our venue in top condition, enabling memorable experiences for everyone.
Duties
- Perform routine weekly inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair issues identified around the venue
- Arrange external bodies where required, carrying out due diligence first
- Assist with installation, setup, and breakdown of event equipment and infrastructure
- Actively identify areas in need of repair and improvement
- Occasional garden maintenance
Experience
- Proven experience in facility or venue maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Experience in working multiple jobs whilst remaining organised and punctual
