Active Staff are recruiting Garment Processing Operativeto join our client’s team in Andover on a permanent Monday-to-Friday morning shift.
This is a hands-on production role suited to someone who is reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented, with a good understanding of computer systems and the ability to follow processes accurately. Previous production experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
Monday to Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for processing and preparing garments in line with individual customer requirements. Your duties will include:
- Sorting and processing new garments through the kitting process.
- Using computer systems to accurately process garments and customer orders.
- Assigning items against RFIs and generating barcode labels.
- Applying labels using heat-press equipment.
- Applying emblems, badges and other garment finishes to customer specifications.
- Operating heat-press machinery safely and efficiently.
- Checking garments to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Packing completed garments according to individual customer requirements.
- Working towards agreed productivity targets and KPIs.
- Following all company health, safety and quality procedures.
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised and tidy throughout the shift.

Working Environment
This is not a warehouse-based role. You will be working within a production environment operating heat-press machinery and preparing garments to customer specifications.
The role requires you to be on your feet for the full shift, so applicants must be comfortable with prolonged standing and repetitive production tasks.
Safety shoes are mandatory within the operational area, and high-visibility clothing will be provided where required.

- 15-minute coffee break
- 30-minute lunch break
