Role: Recycling Operative
Location: Birkenhead
Hours: 42.75 hours per week, Mon-Fri, willing to be flexible

Global Ardour Recycling Limited are a national recycling and waste management business, operating sites nationwide to offer services to recycle scrap metal, scrap cars and much more. We’re industry leaders, developing ground-breaking Energy from Waste technologies. We’re also one of the country’s largest scrap car recyclers, processing up to 10,000 every month across our sites. The role: We're looking for a recycling operative to join our team in Birkenhead.
- Undertaking the depollution of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) – removing and storing parts safely (full training provided)
- Removing of catalytic convertors from vehicles
- Working closely with others, ensuring good communication and following instructions
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed
- Maintaining all plant and equipment as well as reporting any faults or defects immediately
- Working outdoors
- Manual work with heavy lifting involved
- Ensuring compliance with environmental and health and safety policy and rules
- Maintaining good housekeeping practices ensuring area is always clean and tidy
- Any additional ad-hoc duties
- Previous experience in vehicle mechanics – nice to have
- Previous experience in recycling / scrap
- Enjoys working outdoors in a busy environment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
