Pro Lawn Ltd is an award-winning independent lawn treatment company with over 20 years of experience providing lawn care and weed control services across South West Scotland. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Lawn and Weed Control Technician to join our team based in Prestwick.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Full training will be provided for the right candidates.
Hours:
- 38.5 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00–17:00
- Friday: 07:45–14:45
- 28 days annual leave (pro rata)
Key Responsibilities:
- Application of lawn fertilisers, weed control, and disease treatments
- Machine operations including aeration, scarification, and lawn restoration
- Top-dressing, over-seeding, and re-turfing
- Application of total weed and moss killer to hard surfaces (licence permitting)
- Helping maintain stock levels and secure storage
- Promoting and maintaining safe working practices
- Drainage installation
Essential Requirements:
- Polite, friendly, and professional attitude
- Confident communication skills
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
- Practical, hardworking, and eager to learn
Preferable Skills/Qualifications:
- Lawnmower experience (domestic or professional)
- PA1 and PA6 pesticide application certificates (advantageous but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
