Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves operating various types of vehicles, assisting with labour tasks, and supporting the efficient running of our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving and in scaffolding. Possess strong communication skills, and be capable of heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver goods to designated locations in a timely and professional manner working within a team.
- Assist with loading and unloading then working with an experienced team scaffolding.
- Perform labour tasks such as moving materials and assisting on the job.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle operated (e.g., car, van, or lorry licence)
- Previous scaffold/construction experience is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and clients effectively
- Organised with good time management skills to meet deadlines
- Physically fit to handle manual labour tasks and long periods of standing or walking within warehouses or on-site locations
Pay: £12.21-£22.03 per hour
