Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our Team at Hazlemere Golf Club on a part time basis - 20 Hours per week.
The Pines Bar & Coffee Shop located at Hazlemere Golf Club and is going from strength to strength, it is becoming the place to go in Hazlemere not just for golfers but also the general public for our great breakfasts and super lunches.
We pride ourselves on good honest food and serve lots of Full English Breakfasts, Golf Club favourites, Bacon Rolls, Ham, Egg and Chips, BLT's Club Sandwiches, Scampi and Chips !!! it's not a complicated menu.
We are also very busy with Events and have on average 4 funerals a week whereby we serve hot and cold buffets.
So all in all a very busy and varied role is on offer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure consistency and quality of all dishes served.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the capability to multitask effectively.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food production is essential.
