Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled shaped Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shaped fabrication processes, including welding and assembly, and possess the ability to work with various materials such as upvc window components. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both power and hand tools to create high-quality products that meet our specifications.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate components and assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete fabrication tasks.
- Perform welding tasks, including upvc shape manufacture, ensuring strong and reliable joints.
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products, adhering to quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to fabrication tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
- Experience in welding techniques, particularly shaped upvc fabrication, is essential.
- Ability to fabricate components from shaped upvc with precision.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
