We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Rhyl. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real difference in their education.
The Role
As a Secondary Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide classroom support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and progress.
- Assist students with additional learning needs (ALN), SEN and SEMH where required.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive engagement in lessons.
- Support teachers with classroom activities and resource preparation.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- A patient, caring and supportive approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN, SEN or SEMH is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £90.00-£105.00 per day
